It’s April Fool’s Day, yet the crazy cats at Cheetos headquarters, Frito-Lay and Demeter Fragrance Library weren’t kidding around when they released Cheeteau by Chester today as a limited edition eau du oh-no. The funky fragrance appears to be a marketing campaign, encouraging those curious to smell the stink to follow Chester on Facebook and upload #CheesySelfie on twitter @ChesterCheetah for a chance to win one of 100 bottles up for grabs. With 1,287,673 likes on Facebook and more than 8400 cheesy followers and counting it appears to be working. The taglines are quirky and the video has just the right amount of camp, but I think it might be best to leave the Cheetos odor in the bag.
